This week, government departments haven’t issued policies of adjusting re-bate of El Mn. Some traders said that they have prepared to accept inquiries of July, and the export will be similar to June. Businesses will be carried out in first ten days of July. As a whole, in early June, price of El Mn ever rose to relatively high level. Due to rumor of duty drawback, turnover reduces and price falls stably. At present, export price of El Mn is USD1400-1420/ton FOB. When entering into July, stainless steel production at home comes into low season, and the price falls, too. Most of stainless steel works in Jiangsu, Ningbo etc have stopped production, and demand for El Mn also reduces. As to El Mn producers, water power in south is plentiful now, part of works start to produce, and demand for raw materials increases accordingly which keep price of raw material up. If the state is to cancel the re-bate, producers will have no profits.
