According to stat of ImnI, the global total output of Mn ore is 8250000 tons in first quarter of 2005, increasing by 21% comparing with the same period of last year, of which 2500000 tons are produced in Africa and Middle East,increasing by 28%; 940000 tons from Asia (China not included), decreasing by 2%; originated from America, Commonwealth of Independent States, Indonesia, and China are 870000 tons, 960000 tons, 580000 tons, 2400000 tons respectively, increasing by 28%, 11%, 21%, and 28%respectively. The total output in the whole 2004 is 29400000 tons, ofwhich, high grade ore (Mn44%), is 960 tons increasing by 30% compared with 2003; middle grade ore (Mn30-44%),10900000 tons, up 15%; low grade ore (Mn 30%),8900000 tons, keeping balance with 2003.
